Making it happen for others.

Part of our honest and sincere expressions of true love for God's people whom He has created and definitely loves would be caring for them. This also, is our expression of love for God. (1John 4:20)

This involves giving, meeting their needs, taking time to talk with them on what concerns them, helping them out at home, on their jobs, at school, looking out for them.

But again, we show how much we care about people when we talk to their maker about them. When we decree blessings upon them, when we pray.

Many times, I pray and talk to God about people whom I don't even know. I see a grown man driving a school bus, hes sad, doesn't feel like he's happy, maybe he has issues at home, maybe he needs another job, and i just talk to God about it.

Have a friend who just got in a new relationship and I start speaking the blessings in my quiet corner, a friend is celebrating their birthday and even though you have gifts to offer, you just bless them and keep blessing them.

I believe that God smiles when we decree blessings on others as if we ourselves dont need them. Sometimes when we pray for people, we may be tempted to say "Hey! I just spoke out all the blessings for a perfect life on someone else"

But know today that God is not unfaithful. He's the only one who can truly judge intentions, He is pleased when you care for others even when they are not aware. God loves a cheerful giver. So be not weary in well-doing (Galatians 6:9).

He is God, He knows what you need. And even if you find out (however possible that is) that no one else is praying for you like you pray for others, realize that you're already connected to the source, to the one people pray to, to God.

And I know that what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you. Hebrews 6:10 "God is not unrighteous..."

Let this mind be in you...

Back from church...

let me seeeee, I dont think the real deal is in making heaven, I think its abt reflecting Christ and showing His love while here on earth.

There's a reason y Jesus said Thy Kingdom come, there's a reason y we're not in heaven now.

Its easy to do everything wrong that u want to do & wish for a terminal illness so u can make peace with God before you die 'just in case hell exists'.. but wat if d death is instant...

Christianity isnt fire proof or fire insurance, its more than showing "yay me!!! I'm in Christ" but its an attitude that consciously reflects "Christ is in me"

...so, Phil 4:8 if anything is excellent or praiseworthy,  think about such things.

Only true believers will be with God in heaven. YOU'VE GOT TO MAKE UP YOUR MIND .. Phil 2:12 "...work out your salvation with fear&trembling"

Church Attendance

"I AM A CHRISTIAN BUT I DON'T GO TO CHURCH."

When you were born, your mother brought you to Church.

When you were married, your wife / husband brought you to Church.

When you die, your friends will bring you to Church.

Why not try coming to Church on your own sometime ???

R.A.C.K Random ACts of Kindness

Following a conversation today with one of the office assistants/cleaners in my place of work, I came to understand that she lost her husband 3months ago.

The point is, we need to understand that we are blessed,  so that we can be a blessing Genesis 12:2

God has put you in the world so you can do His work on earth.  "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth,  as it is in heaven".

If you're too high to descend and reach out to someone who's falling, how are you going to position as God's instrument on earth.

Proverbs 3:27-34 "Do not withhold good from them to whom it is due when it is in the power of the thine hand to do it."
There are opportunities all around you to be someone's miracle. You may just be the answer to someone's prayers.

Good night.

Valentines already?

Today, I was sharing with my Manager,  ideas for our Valentine's day celebration and I came up with two cool ideas, but hers finally inspired me.

She asked that we email all the staff to get stuff for the kids in the orphanages close to us. Baby clothes,  baby toys, kids stuff, (used or brand new) chocolates, etc...

I like that we get to look outside ourselves,  I like that we get to share our love with these ones who hardly get hugs, I hope that we make it a regular habit.

I've always wanted to visit the kids in the orphanage. I never have. I've felt so burdened for a long time, this going to be one great moment in my life.

The next step would be adopting one, maybe not immediately,  but not too long either.

While you're still thinking of how to spend yours, you could integrate this a lil bit intp your plans...

Hope maketh not ashamed...

While you're waiting for the promise and speaking rhe things that be not as though they were, it's easy to get discouraged by the circumstances around you and people jeering and making you feel like you're not good enough.

I encourage you to note that those who put their trust in the Lord are like Mt. Zion.

Psalm 34:5 reads " They looked to Him and their faces were enlightened and they were not ahsamed."

Keep believing and saying those things.
"O my God! I trust in thee, let me not be ashamed."

Relax in God

All star gospel tribute to Yolanda at the 2014 essence festival

The 20th anniversary of the Essence Festival will be hosted by Donnie McClurkin on 3-6 July in New Orleans, LA.

Yolanda has sold more than 4.5million albums in the US and nearly 8million worldwide.

"Through faith and patience we inherit the promise..."

I'm all for instant miracles, but sometimes God expects you to wait because what He's preparing for you is far greater than you can imagine, and you may not be ready for it yet so He's preparing you or preparing the circumstances around you, but in any case, He knows just when to give you what you need.

Dont go on birthing Ishmaels when God has promised you an Isaac.

Some foods can be made really fast, some can be bought from a grocery store or an eatery, while some will need to follow a process before you can savour the meal.

There are times when God can defy natural laws and processes established by man to accelerate his plans for you and there are times when He needs to test the stuff you're made of.

It's what you do, while you wait, that will count.

Stay in faith, still keep God first place and be good to people.
God is not unfaithful.

A big miracle

Amazing!

Many of us have experienced it, but it doesnt happen just once in a life time. And if you still  havent had one of those Big miracles that sound like a lie, prepare.  You only need to make room for it by believing.  Dont limit God, there's really nothing He cant do.

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM THAT BELIEVES.

FIRST RAIN OF THE YEAR!

Early this morning, Nigeria welcomed its first rain of 2014. Or maybe its just Lagos. Started at about 5:40. Was really heavy.
