The Bible is full of passages where we are encouraged to trust God.
Cursed is he that puts his trust in man.
This is a really simple message, Trust God, what He has promised will surely come to pass. Even if you know no man, hold on to your God.
A God-made will never be moved, like Mount Zion, you will abide forever.
Ps: That is me in the photo
One out of a million instances we can use is the case of a student in school who's got exams but but hasn't had the time to study. Or perhaps has had time but just hasn't had the will.
And then a day to that test, he flips through the pages of his textbooks, goes for the test, aces it, in fact, in some cases, he has the highest grades. Some people would think the teacher is just giving him preferential treatment or that he's doing something to influence his grades, but that's one example of the interventions of grace.
So we can say that grace is what happened for you in moments when your prayers didn't match your preparation, when your results supercede your effort, when you needed divine help to meet your goals.
Sometimes when people attempt to use your approach to these same circumstances, they never get away with it, they dont have it as easy. Some people have to work hard, while some have the grace of ease. It's not luck. It's God's favour, God's grace, making you enjoy preferential treatment, making you enjoy speed, bountiful harvests and making people go out of their way to bw good to you.
"Thou anointed my head with oil, (oil makes things shine/flow/swing smoothly) my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life..." psalm 23: 4b

Life doesnt have to be hard for everyone. When men say there is a casting down, keep saying there is a lifting. Quit listening to those people who say a certain stage of life or a certain position or a certain geographical location is hard or tough. Your cases are different.
God deals with prosperity on quite a personal level. In the realm of God’s Kingdom, an individual may prosper while those around him continue in the direction ofpoverty. Psalm 91:7 "though a thousand shall fall.. " There are numerous examples in the scriptures.
In spite of the realisms of our economy that do affect situations we may find ourselves in, there are spiritual laws that are superior to and rise above those situations.
God has said "I will bless you and you will be a blessing."Gen 12:2 Your gifts, talents, wealth, joy, are meant not just for you, but for people around you. Of course God uses people as channels, His blessings on you are to empower you to reach His people.
In Deut. 28:1-2, 11 (amp.), it says, “If you will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God. If you will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth…And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God.”If one chooses not to listen to the voice of the Lord, v. 15 then says they shall experience the curse of poverty. Poverty is a lack in any area. It is obviously His will for us to prosper, as we see in Psa. 35:27 (amp.), “…Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
There is good reason for the Lord to desire us to be prosperous.
We have a work to do for Him and without sufficiency the work would be incomplete. In 2 Cor. 9:8 (amp.), Paul tells us, “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].”
Prosperity is not for selfish gain but for Heaven’s gain. Open up your heart to receive from God, keep honouring God, do the right thing, be diligent where you are, be good to people, and watch God expand your barns.
Hebrews 3:19 " So we see that because of their unbelief, they were not able to enter His rest".
Fear is faith that something bad will happen. Do you remember what Job said in Job 3:35??? He said the thing which he greatly feared has come upon him.
Jesus said in John 14:1, Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, believe also in me...
I think this is an indicator that letting your heart get troubled is a sure sign that you dont think God can do it. You've got to find a way out to help yourself because you feel time is not on your side, God is probably not going to be on time...No, quit doubting. It is through faith and patience that we inherit the promise.Heb 6:12
God made you, He knows exactly what you need and He knows how to give it to you. Just keep the right attitude, Joel Osteen would say honour God, keep Him first place, be good to people.
Scripture says in Proverbs 23:18, Surely there is an end and your expectations will not be cut off. Ephesians 3:20 reiterates that God is able to do infinitely more than we can ask or think through His power at work within us.
His power at work in me is NOT a tiny, insignificant one. I know my God, I'll be strong and do exploits. Keep that attitude, don't limit God. He has a greater plan for you than you or any man can imagine. (1cor 2:9)
So you think you have plans for your life??? Then imagine what the one who made you conceived before you were formed...An amazing one! It will amaze you.
Quit worrying, quit doubting, just keep on thanking God for His steadfast love. Forget about all your needs for a moment and concentrate on God, for He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. Col1:17
I think about how I used to be a wonderful singer, back then in kids choir, on to teenage choir then the big choir in church.
Then the decline started when I wouldn't join the choir in school cos my sister was there already, and I didn't want to steal anyone's thunder.
I joined another team and thot I was happy. But was I?
When you aren't doing what God has called you to do, u feel a certain pain, a certain uneasiness. You know something is missing in your life, you're not living yet.
Life is about finding and fulfilling purpose, you're favoured to have found your purpose, now get to fulfilling it.
What God starts, He finishes. You cant do it by yourself without God's favour.
Yestrday, the first of February, I would say I started living afresh. Cos I reviewed my goals my life, took giant steps and said Hey! I want to sing!!!
Use it or loose it. The gift of singing is really delicate. My voice isn't as good now as it was ten years ago, I kept thinking to myself. But with God's grace and favour, knowing that God is pleased with my new decision to pursue my dreams, I know He'll crown my efforts with success. Maybe this is the set time. I guess it's time for my ministry to begin.
God will bring all the favour that is required to accomplish your God-given dreams. Quit working on the figures and facts, believe that we have a God of wonders; He turned water to wine, parted the red sea, helped Joseph bring his dreams to pass, even after many years.
DONT EVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF!
