GRAB THAT PILLOW: Will I be poor if I take this nap?

A Lion Sleeps For 18hrs.
A Donkey Sleeps 2 hrs.
If Hard Work Really Pays..Donkey Would Have Been..King of The Jungle:)

-Dr Mike Murdock (tweet)

This quote  by Dr. Mike is powerful, all we need is God's favour and grace to make our results superceed our effort.

But I got confused about what the scriptues say in Proverbs 6:6-11:

A Lesson from the Ant

6-11
You lazy fool, look at an ant.
Watch it closely; let it teach you a thing or two.
Nobody has to tell it what to do.
    All summer it stores up food;
    at harvest it stockpiles provisions.
So how long are you going to laze around doing nothing?
How long before you get out of bed?
A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there,
sit back, take it easy—do you know what comes next?
Just this: You can look forward to a dirt-poor life,
    poverty your permanent houseguest! (MSG)

This passage repeats itself in Proverbs 24:33,34.
I do believe that this passage refers to lazy people. It doesn't mean that you have to deprive yourself of rest when you need one. You're human, your body needs a break from all this labor and you're always better for it when you treat yourself right once in a while.

Psalm 127 verse 2 explains this "In vain do you get up early and put off going to bed, working hard to earn a living; for he provides for his beloved, even when they sleep. "

Scripture has lots of passages on sleep and rest and how God will make you enjoy your sleep. Why do people only have to hammer on "A little sleep..." like we have the world in our hands and if we sleep, everything will go wrong?

Some of the verses I found read:

"I will make a covenant of peace with my people and drive away the dangerous animals from the land. Then they will be able to camp safely in the wildest places and sleep in the woods without fear.” Ezekiel 34:25

"You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety. You will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor." Job 11:18-19

"When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet." Proverbs 3:24

Still feel guilty about an hour nap? The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry.(Prov 10:3)
Let's just say sleep wisely. And know that if God doesn't breathe life and shower favour on whatever you struggle to achieve, you may just have labored in vain. Psalm 3:5 reads, "I lie down and sleep, I wake again because the Lord sustains me."

We do not disregard Prov.6:11 and it's cross references, because they also apply to daily living and can be considered figuratively too, but when you've done your best and you know you ought to do your eyes and your body and your brain good, by hitting the sack...Just Do It!

When you're aiming at a goal, your job is to cast your bread and believe, everything else is time and chance, and God's grace!!!
